Dear Dr. Mike, Our 3.5 year old daughter fell in love with the CD from the first moment. On her own will, she has been playing the CD numerous times during the day: while she plays in her room, before she goes to sleep, etc. I have... a copy for the car and she always requests it when we drive. You really hit home on so many topics. It was such easy reading yet had some soul-searching topics. I first read this book during my child’s infancy and found it quite interesting. As the parent of a 'Gifted Child' this book has been an invaluable reference if only for the chapter on powerful and positive parenting alone! Putting into practice the parenting methods on pages 16-27 have made an extraordinary difference in my child's well being and 'very superior' performance level. This book had a very powerful impact on me which I didn't expect but it has also helped my niece and nephew whose parents followed its advice closely. These children are both in advanced classes at school. Their teacher's always comment on their above average intelligence. My sister and I both believe that it was Dr. Mike's sage advice that produced this result because genius or brilliance does not run in our family! :-) I always send this book to my friend's when they are getting married or are expecting a new addition to their family. I was visiting my sister’s family. Both my sister and brother-in law are dedicated to their work, but they didn’t seem to have much time to spend with their son. I suggested to my brother-in-law, who is a college professor, to turn off the adult movie that was inappropriate for his son to watch and spend some time with him. He in turn became upset and began to argue with me. After a short time, I began to play the Classical Confidence CD and purposely turned it up so he would hear it. He replied, “What is this?!” and mocked it, She ignored the remark and let it play. He listened to the entire CD and after it was finished, he sincerely replied, “where did you get this CD? I want a copy. I need to talk to my son this way.” She felt that the positive quotes touched his heart and soul and instantly changed his relationship with his son!!!
